The Leicester campus (pronounced les' ter) began as an academy in 1784 - the 19th oldest campus in the country. The Worcester campus (pronounced woos' ter) was founded in 1887 by E.C.A. Becker. Both schools have sustained a long-standing tradition of quality education. In 1974, Becker and Leicester began working together to expand academic offerings and provide broader social and recreational opportunities for their students. As a result of their close cooperation, the two were formally consolidated in 1977 as the Worcester campus and Leicester campus of Becker College.
Today, the college offers 22 bachelor-degree-level major fields of study and 19 associate degree programs. Its student body has grown to a full-time enrollment of over 1,000. Men and women from 18 states and 12 countries since 1985 have selected Becker to provide the necessary education and professional training to achieve their goals.
